What is MION’s core expertise, and what unique knowledge, technology, or capabilities do you bring to CustomAI?
MION aims at the development of innovative analytical instruments for detection based on its Differential Mobility Analyzer (DMA), achieving detection performances much higher than existing technologies in terms of sensitivity and selectivity, which is ideal for detecting drugs and explosives in complex environments and scenarios. MION will provide the sensors adapted to CustomAI’s needs.
What is your specific role in CustomAI, and what is the single most exciting outcome you hope to achieve with the results of CustomAI?
MION will lead the development of sensors for container screening, this being the main output of the project. Additionally, MION will work on data gathering from the other sensors.
What is the core team involved in the project?
The MION team for CustomAI will be led by Daoiz Zamora, CEO of MION, with long experience in container screening technologies, and Mario Amo, CTO of MION and main developer of the company’s technology. Additionally, a team of mechanical, electronics, and software engineers will support all developments within the project.
